Online Productivity featuring Office 365, Small Manufacturer

As a small business, Carina understands the important of having a strong ROI when it comes to technology investments.  For this client, it was paramount – as a manufacturer they run very lean and were challenged with the costs of upgrading all of their users to Microsoft Office 2010 from Microsoft Office 2003, despite the improvements in usability and features.  They tried Google Apps, but struggled with compatibility issues and the lack of the online support and community they were used to with Microsoft Office.

Carina demonstrated the potential of Office 365, to include not only the online compliments to Word and Excel, but also the ability to migrate from consumer-grade email to Outlook + Exchange – something they had wanted to do but couldn’t justify the IT investment.  To seal the deal, we demonstrated SharePoint Online, painting a vision of a collaborative work environment.

Currently evaluating the Office365 Beta, this client fully intends to sign up for the service once it is available.
